Do you love reggae? Are your favorite bands The Clash, The Skatalites and Devo? Do you know your local music scene? Think that you can help spread the word about a new gang in town?

We are assembling a team of punky reggae enthusiasts and and you could be a part of it! We needfans, DJs, promoters, writers, anything that you can do to help!

Receive free music, LPs, 7's, tee shirts, posters, stickers, and more, in return for your help. Get involved with our tours and work with our artists when they come to your town. Get involved with our Web site and online marketing. You wont make any money but you will get the satisfaction of helping someone in need....OH YEAH and FREE stuff, too!

BAND SPOTLIGHT - THE IRIE BEATS BAND - Catch the Reggae Fever!

Formed in 1996, The Irie Beats Bandhave been providing the sweet sounds of roots reggae and dub music to Los Angeles for over 8 years. The band brings the mesmerizing sounds of classic hollow-bodied guitars provided by Robert Sotelo and Luis "Oso" Rivera and blends them with the creatively heavy bass lines of Eddie Lozoya. The welcome additions of Jorge Rivera on drums and Edmundo (last name here) on Organ and Melodica provide the fine touches of this up and coming band.

The band has been performing at world renowned venues of Los Angeles such as The Whiskey AuGoGo, The Roxy, The Knitting Factory, Fais DoDo, The Key Club, Bbkings, The Coachhouse, and The Universal Amphatheatre to name a few. They have also traveled up and down California, making stops in cities such as San Francisco, Sacramento, Sunnyvale, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Oceanside, Hesperia, Riverside, and various others.

In addition, they have been blessed with the opportunity to have performed along such notable artists as The Skatalites, Toots and the Maytals, Phillis Dillon, The Congos, Kymani Marley, Maxi Priest, Hepcat, The Slackers, Frankie Paul, and The Skeletones.
